About Me

I accepted an early retirement offer from Nortel Networks and decided that I would continue my woodworking, handyman and project management business into this next phase of my career.

My Skills Background

I have a professional background (engineer and MBA), but love to help people by fixing things and working with my hands. I have a full woodworking shop at home that comes in handy for those challenging repair jobs.

My Project Management Background

I have managed a number of projects ranging in complexity from coordinating office moves to new product introductions extending 18 months. These projects usually encompassed managing large, cross functional groups, but have also included small, departmental projects.

A marriage of my hands-on building and repairing skills with my project management abilities can be seen in my past volunteer activities:
- coordinated the 'Parent's Work Weekends' at Cardinal Gibbons High School for 4 years
- managed numerous Habitat for Humanity building projects
- organized repair and rebuilding programs for Haven House Services
